Founder Laura Pennino was recognized as one of Houston Woman Magazine’s 50 Most Influential Women of 2022. She brings over 40 years of experience in journalism and the public relations industry. Laura has held senior roles at leading global PR firms Edelman and Fleishman-Hillard. Under her leadership, Pennino and Partners has been previously recognized by The Houston Business Journal as one of Houston’s top-ranked PR firms.
Based on Galveston Island, Pennino and Partners works with clients and media all over the world. Our clients include Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits, government agencies, small businesses, and professional service firms. We also have extensive experience supporting tech, industrial and manufacturing companies; banking and financial services firms; higher education institutions; and health and wellness organizations.

Laura Pennino
Founder and Chief Executive
Laura Pennino has more than 40 years of experience as a writer, editor, speaker, and public relations specialist. Laura blends the best of “Big Agency capabilities” with “just right” solutions for clients and media of all types, all over the world.
Having been a newspaper and magazine writer and editor herself, she has a unique understanding of and appreciation for working with the media.
She often serves as a “source for sources” for media and as a speaker on effective communication and public relations tips and techniques.
She and her team support a wide range of clients: global corporations, small and mid-sized businesses, start-up ventures, entrepreneurs and philanthropists, non-profit organizations, professional services firms, and other marketing and public relations firms.
Susan Bobrick
Senior VP and Business Manager
Susan Bobrick has been a key member of the Pennino and Partners senior team for 20 years, initially providing administrative, payroll, and accounting support for the firm and its clients. Over time, Susan’s responsibilities expanded to include managing the firm’s IT services consultants, overseeing office operations, assisting with business development, and supporting Pennino and Partners’ clients with research, reports, and project management.
Chris Randolph
Public Relations Coordinator
Chris Randolph is laying a foundation for a career in media production and writing with a thorough understanding of the public relations side of the business. Chris joined Pennino and Partners as a public relations intern in December 2024 and now works as the Public Relations Coordinator. She is responsible for drafting and distributing news releases, compiling media lists, creating media coverage reports and providing support to the firm’s team and clients. She has also designed and created documents for the company website.
